StarForce announces the launch of web-based service for information protection and control

StarForce Technologies company announces the launch of a unique service for StarForce Content solution users, allowing to protect digital documents online. New web-based service will be available for users in June 2009.

Now users of StarForce Content solution meant for protection of e-documents and digital information have a convenient tool for protection and control of the documents distribution. New web-based service having no analogues will allow corporate clients to protect digital documents, re-protect the old ones, create a new key for a new client and get reports on the usage of earlier distributed documents at any time, from any place within a few minutes. It’s an absolutely safe process because everyone has its own protected web cabinet. StarForce Content solution is a way to avoid information leakages, insiders, maintain confidentiality and retain the authorship of the documents created.

The first version of the web-based service will be available for protection of pdf files only. Other formats (doc, rtf, ppt, html, etc.) protection is still available via an existing model through the special protection tool. However StarForce is continuing to work on future development of the new service and plans to present this service for new file formats with more options by the end of 2009.
